Corrie Williamson is the author of Sweet Husk, winner of the 2014 Perugia Press Prize and a finalist for the Library of Virginia Poetry Award. Her poems have appeared in AGNI, The Missouri Review, Shenandoah, Poetry Daily, and many other journals. Her manuscript-in-progress, The Pleasuring Ground (or maybe The River Where You Forgot My Name.... she can't decide), has something to do with the Corps of Discovery, appropriate use of technology, and large mammals. She lives in Helena where she teaches writing, serves as Outreach Director for an environmental non-profit, and is a co-founder of Helena Area Literary Arts (HALA), offering the reading series Flight of Writers, Women Bearing Witness, and Bedtime Stories –  and always plotting more.
