Time as Technique: A Fiction Workshop with Virginia Reeves

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Unlike life, fiction does not have to follow the rules of linear time. As writers, we get to bend, cut, reposition, and realign time to best serve our stories. In this workshop, we’ll explore a variety of different ways to use time to our advantage, enriching and expanding storylines and plot. We will look at examples from fiction, drama, and film, and we’ll spend plenty of time writing and rearranging our own work. Please bring a pen and paper or a laptop computer for in-session writing.

$25 for Students, $40 General Public
Registration for this event will open August 20 at montanabookfestival.org
