HALA: A Reading of Her Own Pulitzer Series Event

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

This event is sponsored by Humanities Montana.

A Reading of Her Own showcases 800 word (or 8-minute long) prose by those who identify as female. For the Montana Book Fest, readers will read prose inspired in some way by Pulitzer-winning poets.

There are no limits on topic, no preference given to those with better stories or better writing, just women and their stories. Readers are planned in advance, but pieces and topics are not screened. Limited space is available. Requests to read will closed when the 12 slots are filled. Confirmation of your inclusion in the event will be sent by email. Sign up will occur promptly at 8:15 pm at the event site.

Want to read? Send us an email and we’ll get you on the list. helenaarealiterareaarts@gmail.com In your message, please express your interest and include your first and last name (and preferred name for introduction if it differs) as well as phone number for contact. Please also tell us which poet you'll be drawing from - associations can be loose, free-form, a line that sparks an idea etc.
